It’s been an exciting month for Candle Wax Records! We’ve located various reviews on our records while surfing the net. So, I suppose we’ll go in order of the actual release. So, that would place Nine:Fifteen’s “Spilt Milk” 12-inch at the top of the list. A review of it was just found in Splendid’s “ezine”

Next in order of release would be the Olive Green 7-inch and while browsing some other pages on Splendid’s site we came across this review!

A busy week for Candle Wax Records latest release “Deluxe Laminated” 12-inch by Nine:Fifteen. Record reviews surfacing for us in DMC’s on-line magazine as well as UK’s Rock Bottom. Read them for yourself and see what the buzz is all about. Be sure to stop by our “Records” page and cop any of these releases.

Yet another crazy month for Candle Wax Records! Comel_15 is wrapping up his tour with Time Machine in Australia and Japan. Blake9 returns from the shore after putting it to the grindstone! We’re keeping the momentum moving forwards and trying to avoid the “backwards hustle” as Comel_15 likes to put it, we discovered a review in XLR8R #87 May, 2005 on Nine:Fifteen’s “Deluxe Laminated” 12-inch! Ok, The Nine:Fifteen “Deluxe Laminated” 12-inch and Olive Green 7-ingh received a review in Mana Mana the only problem is, we need a translator. Preferably from Hungry… IF any one reading this can interpret this review for us it would be greatly appreciated. Props to Suefo for the reviews! The quest for exposure is in full gear now. Nine:Fifiteen has a page on download.com and we’re gearing up to give one last push to the “Deluxe Laminated” project. Thanks to all of you who have picked up either that 12-inch or the “Spilt Milk” record. We’re getting close to being “out of print” with the first Nine:Fifteen record. So, scoop a copy up before it’s too late!

On the other hand, we’re still patiently awaiting the arrival of the “Dropping From The Trees” album. As soon as we get our shipment we’ll be sending out promos and pre orders! You can scoop it up here

Comel_15 is preparing to make his trip out east and record for the 3rd Nine:Fifteen 12-inch and you know it’s going to be hot. Also, whispers have been flying around the rumor mill about a Count Bass D. and Blake9 project. Stay tuned…

Nine:Fifteen is working on touring a few dates in California! We’ll let you know more when things firm up a bit. Right now some dates are tentative, but we’re looking at Nov.1 SD/LA, Nov.2 SD/LA, Nov.3 SD/LA, Nov.4 Claremont, Nov.5 in San Francisco @ the Elbo Room. Keep checking back!

Also, keep your eyes peeled for a review of Nine:Fifteen’s new single “Deluxe Laminated” in the August issue of UK’s Under Cover Magazine!
